Hydraulics manufactures most things in mens and womens fit because unisex sizing usually means compromise. Womens clothing is narrower in the shoulder, fuller in the hips and shorter in the leg, sleeve, and body length than the mens.
If you fall in-between sizes, the correct size for you will depend on your body shape and how loose or tight you like to wear your clothes. All Hydraulics measurements are in centimetres.

This deck has recently been updated with input from Mick Hopkinson and several other NZ paddling gurus. The deck now has improved implosion-resistance, and passes Mick's test to make it one of the only decks he will use to paddle Grade 5. We've looked at other kevlar decks on the market and decided to go full on with a maximum amount of real kevlar neoprene. None of these stick-on patches for us, with this deck you get actual panels of full thickness kevlar neoprene around most of the deck's edge, giving you optimum protection where you need it most. These panels have been designed wide enough to cover the thigh braces as well as the cockpit rim, so that your deck is protected from impacts at all angles.

Reinforced Deck | |
Our mid-range deck with a great combination of benefits plus value for money. Suitable for paddlers who carry out deck rescues, play polo, hit the deck with their paddle or just prefer to have as much protection against nicks and tears as possible.
Tip: Latex makes the deck a bit harder to stretch when putting it on, so if you find it hard enough fitting a neoprene deck you may not like this feature. Try our standard deck instead as this stretches more easily. This deck uses the older style of hand-painted latex which we're now replacing where possible with a new screen-printed ink. The Pursuit Deck is the new version of this deck, and fits K1 Slalom boats, standard-size multisport boats, non-plastic Polo boats and a few other smaller-cockpit kayaks.
